1. WALKING FOOD TOUR

The walking food tour starts from 6pm in the evening and usually finishes at around 830pm. Your guide will take you around sampling delicious local fare along the way. You get to feel how the locals eat and at the places they love to hang out. In small groups of no more than 6 people, you will be guided along the roads and alleyways as the guide will explain the history of the area and the significance of the food you will be having. With no less than 5 stops for food, you will be spoiled with the wide selection of yummy goodies. Remember to come with an empty stomach!!!

Our most popular walking food tour is the Penang Street Food Tour. You will get to sample a wide array of foods from the different races in Malaysia. If you see something you want to try along the way, feel free to stop your guide and take a detour. 

PRICE:

RM 45* per person

RM 35* per person for 3 or more persons

* food is not included in the price. Usually food costs about RM 30-50 per person depending on how much your order.

* hotel pick up and drop off is available with additional charges if needed. 

2. MARKET TOUR

For some people, eating like a local is not good enough. They want to experience shopping for food like a local. You will get to see the local fresh foods from a wet market, where still the majority of locals shop for their fresh ingredients. You will get to sample local fruits and see the catch of the day. The tour will end with lunch/dinner somewhere near the market.

There are many markets around Penang, but we will select the best one for that particular day to bring you to. Your friendly guide will help you haggle like a local and bring you around the market for some snacks and street food as well. Hotel pick up is included in the price.

3. BEST OF THE BEST - ROUND ISLAND FOODIE TOUR

If just sampling local fare is not good enough for you, you want the best street food at the best stall at the best time of day, then this tour is for you. This is not for the faint in heart. These are for the hardcore foodies who insist on trying the best around.

The tour will take between 4-6 hours and you will be driven around town to have the best local foods around. Depending on the time of year you may also get to sample some local fruits at the best stalls around. 

Your guide will drive you around and bring you to these wonderful food stalls tucked all around town. Not only you will eat like a local, you will eat like a discerning local foodie when only the best is good enough.

RM 150* per person

RM 120* per person for 3 or more persons

* hotel pick up and drop off is included in the price (RM30 off if you can meet at the designated meeting place)
